What colour will this give my hair?


Pure henna gives a natural red to reddish-brown tone. The final shade depends on your natural hair colour: on dark hair it usually shows as a warm tint in sunlight, while on lighter hair it looks more noticeably red or copper.



Will it cover my grey hair?



Yes, but grey hair usually turns a warm copper or orange-red with henna, not brown or black. For a browner shade, many people follow henna with an indigo application



Do I need to do a patch test?


Yes, every time. Apply a small amount of paste behind your ear or on your inner elbow and wait 48 hours before full use. Even natural products can cause reactions in some people, and dye makers recommend patch testing for exactly this reason.



Does it contain PPD or "black henna" chemicals?


No. Revive+ contains only 100% pure Sojat henna leaf powder, with no PPD, metallic salts or added dyes. "Black henna" products often contain PPD, a chemical that can cause serious skin reactions in some people.



How long should I leave it on?


Usually 2 to 3 hours for colour, or about 1 hour for conditioning only. The longer you leave it, the deeper the colour.

Is henna colour permanent?


Henna colour is long-lasting and builds up with each use, so it fades very slowly instead of washing out. That's why a strand test before your first full application is a good idea.
